1. What is spraycrete / concrete resurfacing?

It’s a spray-on concrete coating applied over your existing surface. It transforms old, cracked, or stained concrete into a fresh, modern, and durable finish.

2. How long will it last?

You can expect 7–10 years of life on a typical NZ driveway. 

Proper surface preparation and addressing any underlying damage before resurfacing are critical to achieving this expected lifespan,

along with proper maintenance.

3. Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes — all work comes with a 5-year workmanship guarantee.

4. Can you resurface exposed aggregate?

Yes. Exposed aggregate is prepped, resurfaced and sealed to give it a fresh, slip-resistant finish.

5. Is the surface slippery when wet?

No. All finishes are textured for anti-slip protection, making them safe for driveways, garages, and even retirement villages or council spaces.

6. Will heavy vehicles (SUVs, 4x4s) damage the surface?

No. Once sealed, the surface is strong enough for everyday vehicles, including large utes and 4WDs.

7. How do I keep the surface clean?

Just sweep or hose it down regularly. For a deeper clean, use a pressure washer on a low-to-medium setting. Avoid strong solvents or acids.

8. What colour options do you offer?

A wide range of modern designer colours and finishes, from sleek charcoals to natural earthy tones to suit your property.

9. How long does the job take?

Most driveways are completed in 2–3 days, depending on prep work and weather.

10. Will cracks in my concrete show through?

Small cracks are repaired before spraying. Larger cracks will be treated, but resurfacing is not a structural fix.

11. How much does it cost?

Every job is different. Pricing depends on size, prep work, and finish. We offer free quotes so you know upfront.

12. How soon can I use it?

Foot traffic after 24 hours, vehicles after 5–7 days for full curing.

13. What maintenance is required?

Keep it clean and reseal every 2–3 years to protect colour and durability. 

14. Do you travel out of town for jobs?

Yes. While we’re based in Mt Maunganui, we also service Hamilton, Auckland, Rotorua, Whakatāne and Taupō , as well as nearby areas.
